You are born with a birth certificate and you die with a death certificate. Everything in between is political. Walter Reuther once said "There's s a direct relationship between the ballot box and the bread box, and what the union fights for and wins at the bargaining table can be taken away in the legislative halls."
All of the hard earned wages, fringe benefits, working conditions and jobsite safety that our predecessors worked so hard to establish can be taken away with the stroke of a pen.
Most working people want to go home after work and spend time with their families. We expect that if we work hard that we should be able to afford health care, a decent standard of living, education for our children, a safe jobsite and retirement security. Unfortunately, that is not always the case. Many politicians and talk show hosts talk about personal responsibility but do not support the very issues that would allow one to take responsibility.
Please take the time to learn the issues and vote
